A vacuum generator serves as the vacuum source for pneumatic vacuum conveyors. Materials may be directly fed into vibrating screens, whole particle machines, capsule filling machines, mixers, reactors, silos, tablet presses, packaging machines, wet granulation machines, dry granulation machines, and crushers using this vacuum feeder. This device assures that manufacturing meets GMP standards, minimizes worker labor intensity, and gets rid of dust pollution.
A vacuum is created in the hopper when the "on/off" button is pressed because pressurized air enters the vacuum generator and the cylinder closes the hopper's discharge door at the same time. The material to be conveyed is transported via the hose to the vacuum hopper using a vacuum feeder that creates an air stream. A predetermined amount of time (the loading time, adjustable) is allowed before the compressed air is turned off and the pneumatic vacuum pump is unable to create a vacuum. At the same time, the cylinder opens the hopper's discharge door, discharging the material automatically into the receiving apparatus (such as a tablet press, or packaging machine).
Simultaneously, the compressed air contained in the air bag forces the filter to blow back, automatically cleaning it; after an adjustable discharge time, the compressed air is reactivated, the vacuum generator produces a vacuum, the discharge door is shut, and the vacuum feeder begins to feed again. The material is constantly delivered into the receiving apparatus while this cycle continues.
When using vacuum feeders with material level control, the material level controller automatically feeds the material into the receiving equipment's hopper. The vacuum feeder automatically stops feeding when the hopper of the receiving equipment reaches a given height, and it automatically resumes feeding when the material level reaches a predetermined height.
A reverse blow device using compressed air is included with the vacuum feeder. To maintain the regular operation of the suction material, the compressed air pulse blows the filter to remove the powder that has become adsorbed on its surface each time the material is discharged.
The material level controller automatically feeds the material into the receiving equipment's hopper when using a vacuum feeder with material level control. The vacuum feeder automatically ceases feeding the receiving equipment when the hopper is higher than a predetermined point and resumes feeding the receiving equipment when the material level is lower than a predetermined point.
